We know people in Fresno love their libraries. That came through loud and clear in November 2012 when 73,29% of voters extended Measure B, a 1/8 cent sales tax supporting the Library for sixteen years. While Measure B provides funding for Library operations, it does not provide for special programs or capital projects. Your donation to the Foundation will provide resources to meet the changing needs of the community.
What will be your legacy to the community? A bequest in your will or trust is only one of the ways you can leave a legacy of support for Library programs and services. The Foundation's Legacy Society was named in honor of Rosellen Kershaw, a long-time advocate for the Library and chairperson of the first committee for the passage of Measure B, a 1/8 cent sales tax that provides over 50% of the funding for Library operations. Rosellen is a life-long Library supporter and it is in her honor that we have created the Rosellen Kershaw Legacy Society.
